Ralph Jones was the person who sent home all of the election observers.

Then his crew, including Ruby and daughter Shaye, went to work on election night!

COVID TESTS

Positive PCR test results do not sufficiently prove that people infected with #SARSCoV2 can infect others with the coronavirus and are unsuitable on their own as a basis for pandemic measures, new research that included 190k results from 160k people at the UDE Faculty of Medicine in Germany concludes.

Not good enough, only those who had Pfizer, Moderna, J&J jabs allowed. Canadians disappointed.

Feds Investigating Chinese Spies’ Return to US Ahead of COVID Travel Ban

June 15, 2021

Chinese nationals' travel changes prompt espionage and pandemic concerns for national security agencies

Hundreds of Chinese nationals are the subject of a federal probe after law enforcement officials flagged their travel at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Chinese nationals returned to the United States earlier than expected in January 2020, often having modified their travel plans. Then-president Donald Trump signed an executive order restricting entry from non-citizens and residents from China on Jan. 31, 2020.

The episode is recounted in an internal report that circulated among various national security and law enforcement agencies on June 3. That report surmises that the Chinese students returned to the United States earlier than expected in order to avoid future travel restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The United States recorded its first COVID-19 case on January 21, the same day a Chinese scientist said the virus could spread person to person.

Florida Gov. DeSantis Sending Police To Deal With Border Crisis In Arizona, Texas

BY TYLER DURDEN FRIDAY, JUN 18, 2021 - 01:25 PM

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Wednesday that he has authorized sending police to the U.S.-Mexico border in Arizona and Texas after the two respective states requested it.

We’re here today because we have problems in Florida that are not organic to Florida that we’ve been forced to deal (with) over many years, but particularly over the last six months, because of the failure of the Biden administration to secure our southern border,” DeSantis said during an event on Wednesday. “And, indeed, to really do anything constructive about what is going on in the southern border

Colorado leads U.S. states with first look at new congressional districts

An independent commission in Colorado will reveal a preliminary map of new congressional districts next week, putting the state at the forefront of efforts to draw battle lines for the 2022 U.S. election and strip party politics from the process.

With Democrats holding a slim 10-seat majority in the U.S. House of Representatives, the once-a-decade redistricting underway across the country is being closely watched for clues about which party could gain an advantage heading into next year's high-stakes midterm contests.

Colorado will release its initial map on Wednesday, the first state to do so this year. For the first time, an independent redistricting commission in the state is drawing the lines, offering an aggressively non-partisan approach in contrast to most states where lawmakers in the majority produce maps favoring their party.

STARLINK BETA ISSUES

"Thermal Shutdown" - Heat Wave Knocks Beta Starlink Users Offline

BY TYLER DURDEN FRIDAY, JUN 18, 2021 - 12:10 PM

While a massive heat wave and megadrought plague tens of millions of Americans, beta users of SpaceX's broadband service called Starlink are reporting their dishes are overheating, which knocks them offline.

Earlier this week, a Redditor posted an error message that reads "Offline Thermal Shutdown." The dish "overheated" and "Starlink will reconnect after cooling down," the error message continued.

One of the drawbacks of Starlink appears to be thermal issues where the user cannot access satellite internet until the dish cools down. Other users have reported the same problem.

About two months ago, another Redditor said their dish shut down for 30 minutes after being exposed to "low 80s and sun."

To all beta testers using Starlink this summer, better come up with a dish heat management system or else face no connectivity. Not surprising, considering this is a company owned by Elon Musk.

British Airways Pilots

Replying to @kmacbean123 Sadly four members of our pilot community passed away recently. Our thoughts are with their family and friends. However, there is no truth whatsoever in the claims on social media speculating that the four deaths are linked. Julie 3:21 PM · Jun 17, 2021·Conversocial

Replying to @British_Airways Your response is appreciated and I know I can speak on behalf of everyone in offering our sincere condolences to all affected, we are incredibly sorry. As I understand it, pilot staff are physically tested regularly. Is this death rate for your pilots normal or is this unusual?

Embarrassing defeat as UK PM Johnson's party loses out at election

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson suffered an embarrassing defeat in a election on the outskirts of London on Friday, when his governing Conservative Party lost a previously safe parliamentary seat to the Liberal Democrats.

The Conservatives had comfortably held the leafy, affluent Chesham and Amersham constituency in southern England since its creation in 1974, capturing more than 50% of the vote on every occasion. At the last poll in 2019, Conservative Cheryl Gillan, who died this year, won by a majority of 16,223 votes.

Chinese Defector's Identity Confirmed, Was Top Counterintelligence Official

By Jennifer Van Laar Jun 17, 2021

We now know the name of the Chinese defector who has been working with the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) for a few months and what his position within the Chinese military and government was, among other details.

the defector is, in fact, Dong, that he was in charge of counterintelligence efforts in China, and that he flew to the United States in mid-February, allegedly to visit his daughter at a university in California. When Dong landed in California he contacted DIA officials and told them about his plans to defect and the information he’d brought with him. Dong then “hid in plain sight” for about two weeks before disappearing into DIA custody.

According to Spy Talk, Dong’s name came up during the Sino-American Summit held in Alaska in March 2021:

RedState’s sources say that Chinese officials did demand that the United States return Dong, but Blinken didn’t exactly refuse; at that time Blinken wasn’t aware that Dong was with the US government, the sources say, and told China that the US didn’t have Dong.

It’s only in the last three to four weeks that anyone outside DIA knew about the defector, according to RedState’s sources. Prior to that time, DIA was vetting the information provided and confronting Langley officials with what they’d learned without divulging the source.

Not only does Dong have detailed information about China’s special weapons systems, the Chinese military’s operation of the Wuhan Institute of Virology and the origins of SARS-CoV-2, and the Chinese government’s assets and sources within the United States; Dong has extremely embarrassing and damaging information about our intelligence community and government officials in the “terabytes of data” he’s provided to the DIA.
